Celebrating Several Firsts

Ryan had a lot of "firsts" this past month, and we think that's worth celebrating. He had his first pickle, chocolate bar, his first teeth came in, he went in the pool for the first time, said his first word, and even had his first haircut. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. Here are a few things he's doing now that we're so excited about.

- While he isn't crawling yet, he's certainly mobile. He's figured out that by rolling over several times, he can travel to the other side of the room to get the toy he wants.
- He loves his door frame jumper, and will often play in it for over an hour
- He is now big enough to sit in the tub all by himself, and plays with toys in the water
- He is into everything! Gone are the days where we just cuddles into Mommy's shoulder, now he wants to see, touch, taste, and grab everything in sight.
- There is never a time when he isn't moving. Even when he drinks his bottle, he'll kick his legs or slap the bottle to stay in motion.
- Ryan said his first word on Friday, April 1st, and it's starting to feel like an April Fools Day joke because I cannot get him to do it again. However, he said, "again" three times in a row while playing Peek-a-boo. It was amazing!
- Every minute of the day is playtime, especially when Daddy gets home. Daddy is by far his favorite.
- He giggles about 100 times a day, and makes his parent's hearts melt every time.

Here's a tribute to all of Ryan's new "firsts" and just some cute pictures we couldn't resist putting in. Every day feels like a celebration when you've got a little buddy this amazing!
